<p>The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. The school offers master’s programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice­oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research. <p>The Hertie School's Jacques Delors Centre is looking for an</p>
            <p><strong>Associate Communications (gn)</strong></p>
            <p>full-time (40 hours per week). The contract shall commence as of 01 January 2024 and will initially be limited for one year, with the possibility of being extended.</p>
            <p>Among our Centres of competence, the Jacques Delors Centre is special; bringing together outstanding research and hands-on think tank work. This profile makes the Jacques Delors Centre a unique place for European research, debate, and visions.</p><p>

<h2>Your tasks:</h2>
                    <ul>
                        <li>Become a hands-on member of the PR and Communications section of the Jacques Delors Centre</li>
                        <li>Intensive expansion of our press network and independent communication with journalists (national/international) - bringing along an existing network of press contacts is an asset</li>
                        <li>Full events organisation within our Project Franco-German Dialogue as well as various other types of events including the EU to go breakfasts</li>
                        <li>Maintenance of the Centre and project websites (Typo3 and WordPress) and content creation for Social Media channels</li>
                        <li>Layouting of publications (Indesign)</li>
                        <li>Support of the conceptualisation and implementation of the EU to go podcast</li>
                        <li>Internal administrative tasks, e.g., update database regularly</li>
                        <li>Contribute to the maintenance, analyse and evaluation of the effectiveness of our outreach</li>

<h2>Your profile:</h2>
                    <ul>
                        <li>Master’s degree in a relevant field such as communication or political science</li>
                        <li>Minimum one year experience in a PR related job and event organisation</li>
                        <li>Very good organisational skills</li>
                        <li>Ability to self-organise your tasks in your department/team</li>
                        <li>Structured, pro-active working style and excellent communication skills</li>
                        <li>Very good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken (French is an asset)</li>
                        <li>Knowledge of InDesign and Typo3</li>
                        <li>Experience in editing texts</li>
                        <li>Interest in European policy issues</li>
